Job Description
The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Kitchen Aide to join our team.

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
As a Kitchen Aide, you will responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen at Camp Seymour while assisting in food preparation for summer camp, meals programs, and more. You will ensure a clean kitchen, prepare the salad bar, and assist the cook with prepping food for the next day. This is a year-long position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, and cutting
- Prepare salad bar
- Serve food to participants and staff during meal times
- Keeping equipment, utensils, and work area clean
- Dish washing after food preparation and meal times
- Comply with applicable health and safety codes
- Assist with re-stocking and inventory rotation
- Provide courteous and helpful service to guest at all times

Wage: $17.27 to $19.27 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week
Location: Camp Seymour, Gig Harbor, WA
