Full-Time Inside Sales Account Executive

Job Description

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our highly productive tight-knit team sales organization. CareerPlug takes a one-to-many sales approach selling through partners (franchisors, associations, white label resellers, and referral partners) to provide our hiring software to individual franchisees and members of network partners. You will connect with network partners by email, phone, and text, to inspire them to activate their provided account and upgrade to a paid account.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Make contact through cold or warm outreach to franchisees and members of network partners
  • Schedule and demonstrate CareerPlug’s product to prospects
  • Maintain a minimum number of upgrades and activations per month
  • Complete all individual sales tasks, outbound calls, and consistently update client information in the system of record (HubSpot) each day
  • Collaborate with Partnership Teams and Sales Operations to support efforts to drive adoption of Pro subscriptions
Successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
You love one-call closes! You follow-up to achieve revenue goals. You naturally build rapport with others and get excited to work with small businesses. You enjoy making calls to prospects, give excellent software demos, and have a deep sense of personal accountability. Ideally, you know franchises, associations, and/or co-operatives and have experience working in sales for a software company.
Your Experience:
  • Required: Worked directly with clients/prospects
  • Required: Cold/warm calling experience
  • Preferred: Worked with the franchise industry, associations, and/or co-operatives
  • Preferred: Knowledge of recruiting
  • Preferred: Worked for a software company in sales

Remote: A note on COVID-19 & Remote Work: As of March 2020, our formerly Austin-based team has been working fully remotely. We have transitioned to a Remote First company forever. This role may be filled by either an Austin resident or as a fully remote role for any U.S.-based candidate.
Compensation: This role has a starting pay of $70,000 base salary with an on-target commission of $40,000 annually, for a total on-target compensation of $110,000.
