The Opportunity…

As a Digital Optimization Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to run A/B tests across our portfolio of sites, conduct your own optimization experiments and, most of all, uncover those key data insights from which great ideas are born. How You’ll Contribute…

  • Leading the optimization of conversion rates and engagement metrics across our portfolio of sites
  • Using data and insights, maximise landing page values and other key site assets to drive business outcomes
  • A/B test set-up: set-up A/B tests, design and tracking in Visual Website Optimizer (VWO) or Google Optimize, using web design languages according to web design best practices
  • A/B test management: monitor and maintain live tests and capture metrics of completed tests
  • Conduct regular audits of the analytics across our portfolio of sites and tools to ensure data integrity and robustness of the quality of insights being derived
  • Analyze statistical test data to provide recommendations for implementation, delivering consistent improvement in audience conversion funnel
  • Maintain hypothesis backlog to optimize customer conversion rate
  • Partner with engineering team to quickly test hypotheses and deliver business impact
  • Develop new conversion funnel concepts in collaboration with acquisition, product and UX
  • Support of the monetization team with their respective initiatives, as needed
  • Continuously provide leadership support, through critical thinking and a drive to help the entire team grow
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advertising terminology, technology, and products
  • Leverage user research tools (such as Hotjar, UserTesting and/or UsabilityHub) to identify patterns in user-behavior and design new test case scenarios
  • Assist with testing of new site features, specific but not limited to, features designed to increase conversion rates
  • Design frameworks with succession planning at the forefront, continuously looking to grow the size, scope and contribution of the role to the wider team.

 

What You Bring…

  • Skilled at using digital analytics solutions (Google Analytics, Omniture or similar)
  • Hands on experience with VWO, Google Optimizer or similar A/B Testing Tools
  • Hands on experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Functional knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
  • Familiar with CMS type platforms (WordPress, Wix, SquareSpace)
  • Familiar with User Research Tools (such as Hotjar, UserTesting, UsabilityHub or similar)
  • 3-5 years experience in a Conversion Rate Optimization role or similar
  • Willingness to learn; comfortable with data, analyzing results and deciding what to implement. Optimistic in nature.
  • Degree in web development, marketing or mathematics is preferred but not required.
