Social Media Manager

Stealth Sensations is a small business operating out of Concord, California to manufacture and sell adult sexual wellness products. We are built on a commitment to community and collaboration, and we prioritize creating toys and experiences that work for ALL bodies. Our team is a small but passionate community of creatives who are learning and growing along with our company as we get our feet off the ground as a new business!

About you:

We are seeking a Social Media Manager who is excited about a growth opportunity with plenty of creative freedom. This person will be responsible for managing all company marketing and social media and getting us on the map as a new business. They should be passionate about sexual wellness and advancing access for underrepresented groups within the sexual wellness space. The ideal candidate will come in ready to hit the ground running with idea generation, content creation, and team collaboration and brainstorming.

Primary responsibilities:

• Create and manage a social media plan for a new business with no current social media presence
• Maintain awareness and caution around social media censorship policies, and navigate them accordingly
• Film and edit videos for posting on TikTok, Bluesky, and other platforms
• Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and tags and engage and respond as needed
• Explore and elevate additional marketing opportunities for the company such as brand collaborations, toy review publications, or local event participation
• Other related duties as required – this is a new position so duties may shift based on the skill set and passions of the candidate hired

Qualifications:

• Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, and/or Bluesky
• Proven record of creating high-engagement content on various social media platforms
• Experience capturing and editing photo and video content using a mobile device
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Basic awareness of current public discourse around sexual wellness, and comfort discussing related topics particularly as it relates to underrepresented communities such as BIPOC, trans, and disabled peoples
• College degree in a related field such as marketing, communications, business, or similar a plus
• Excitement for working creatively and collaboratively, and ability to take initiative with limited guidance from supervisors
• Ability to perform these duties without the use AI

Physical requirements:

• Frequent use of computers, phones, and other standard office equipment
• Hybrid work schedule with requirement to be in office filming and photographing content 1-2 times per week
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, or in writing

Additional details:

• Schedule:
  • Part-time, 20 hours per week.
  • Exact working hours are flexible but must be in-office at least 1-2 times per week during traditional business hours to photograph and film content and meet with the team.
  • May require very occasional weekend work to film content during our DIY toy-making experiences

• Work Location:
  • In-person or hybrid required – this position does not support a fully remote schedule. Office located in Concord, CA

• Compensation:
  • The pay for this position is $25/hour
