Key requirements:

Strong frontend skills (critical) — pixel-perfect implementation from FigmaEnd-to-end development experience (full-stack, not a narrow profile)API integrations (email, search, etc.)Working with business logicDatabase design and optimization (Postgres)Ability to collaborate with a designer and PMAttention to detail (UX, components, performance)Experience with production projects (real users)

Nice to have:

OpenSearch / TypeSenseExperience with AI (not a priority)

Globally, the project is a news aggregator focused on AI/Technology.

What needs to be done:

Current priority tasks:Unifying the authorization flowHybrid search — keyword + semantic. Lots of pitfalls here: performance, result validity (there may be gaps in the data that another person is responsible for), and formulas for merging results between keyword and semantic searchGraph visualization

Reporting

Google Docs — every step must be validated with metrics on “result relevance” and performanceGoogle Sheets — same as aboveAlways show up for daily standupsAlways be available during working hours
