About the company

Florent Labs, LLC is a licensed Massachusetts Marijuana Microbusiness engaged in cannabis product manufacturing at Uxbridge, MA 01569. The Company produces marijuana concentrates and extracts, distillate, vaporizer products and infused pre-rolls. Florent Labs holds final licensure from the Cannabis Control Commission and is completing pre-operational build-out. Anticipated start date for all roles is upon the Company’s receipt of authorization from the Commission to commence operations.

1. Reports to and supervises

Reports to the Lab Director. Supervises the Production Assistant.

2. Role summary

The Production Manager oversees all post-extraction manufacturing processes, including pre-roll and infused pre-roll production, packaging and labeling. This role is distinct from the laboratory roles, which handle extraction and initial processing. The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring all finished products are manufactured in a safe, efficient and compliant manner, meeting all quality standards and production targets.

3. Core responsibilities

· Manage the daily operations of the production department.

· Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand.

· Ensure all products are packaged and labeled in accordance with Commission regulations.

· Train and supervise the Production Assistant.

· Maintain a clean and organized production environment.

4. Regulatory and compliance responsibilities

· Ensure all production activities comply with Commission regulations and Company standard operating procedures.

· Report any deviations or incidents to the Lab Director immediately.

· Maintain accurate production and inventory records.

5. Seed-to-sale system and inventory authority

· No direct access to Metrc. All inventory movements are recorded by the Lab Director or the Alternate Responsible Person in Charge.

· May be authorized to perform inventory counts under supervision.

6. Limited Access Area and chain-of-custody authority

· Unescorted access to all Limited Access Areas as required for job duties.

· Must follow all access control procedures, including logging all entries and exits.

· Not authorized to escort visitors or contractors.

7. Safety and training requirements

· Must complete all required safety training, including OSHA and Hazardous Materials.

· Must ensure the Production Assistant is properly trained on all safety procedures.

· Must enforce the use of all required personal protective equipment.

8. Minimum qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

· Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.

9. Background screening and conduct

· Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check, including a CORI report, as 935 CMR 500.030(2) and 500.802 require.

· Must maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

· Any involvement in the diversion of cannabis products will result in immediate termination, and will be reported to Law Enforcement Authorities and the Commission as 935 CMR 500.105(1)(m) requires.

10. Performance indicators

· Meeting production targets and deadlines.

· Maintaining a high level of product quality.

· Adherence to all safety and compliance regulations.

· Accurate and up-to-date production records.

· Efficient management of production resources.

· Successful training and development of the Production Assistant.

· Zero safety incidents or compliance infractions.

· Positive and collaborative team environment.
