Florent Labs, LLC is a licensed Massachusetts Marijuana Microbusiness engaged in cannabis product manufacturing at Uxbridge, MA 01569. The Company produces marijuana concentrates and extracts, distillate, vaporizer products and infused pre-rolls. Florent Labs holds final licensure from the Cannabis Control Commission and is completing pre-operational build-out. Anticipated start date for all roles is upon the Company’s receipt of authorization from the Commission to commence operations.

1. Reports to and supervises

Reports to the Lab Director. Does not supervise any other employees.

2. Role summary

The Lab Assistant supports the Lab Director in all aspects of cannabis extraction and processing. This role is responsible for executing daily production tasks in a safe and compliant manner, following all standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. The Lab Assistant plays a key role in the hands-on production of high-quality cannabis extracts.

3. Core responsibilities

· Perform hydrocarbon extraction in the C1D1 room under the supervision of the Lab Director.

· Operate and maintain wiped-film distillation and ethanol post-processing equipment.

· Assist with vape formulation and filling as directed.

· Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

· Accurately document all production activities and data.

4. Regulatory and compliance responsibilities

· Adhere to all Commission regulations and Company standard operating procedures.

· Report any deviations or incidents to the Lab Director immediately.

· Maintain accurate records for all assigned tasks.

5. Seed-to-sale system and inventory authority

· No direct access to Metrc. All inventory movements are recorded by the Lab Director or the Alternate Responsible Person in Charge.

· May be authorized to perform inventory counts under supervision.

6. Limited Access Area and chain-of-custody authority

· Unescorted access to all Limited Access Areas, including the C1D1 extraction room, as required for job duties.

· Must follow all access control procedures, including logging all entries and exits.

· Not authorized to escort visitors or contractors.

7. Safety and training requirements

· Must complete all required safety training, including OSHA, Hazardous Materials and C1D1 safety.

· Must wear all required personal protective equipment at all times.

· Must demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of all laboratory equipment.

8. Minimum qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred.

· Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is a plus.

· Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

9. Background screening and conduct

· Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check, including a CORI report, as 935 CMR 500.030(2) and 500.802 require.

· Must maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

· Any involvement in the diversion of cannabis products will result in immediate termination, and will be reported to Law Enforcement Authorities and the Commission as 935 CMR 500.105(1)(m) requires.

10. Performance indicators

· Adherence to all standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

· Accurate and timely completion of all assigned tasks.

· Consistent production of high-quality extracts.

· Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

· Proactive communication with the Lab Director.

· Zero safety incidents or compliance infractions.

· Successful completion of all required training.

· Positive and collaborative attitude.
