Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. As an intern at SKZ Accountants, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in accounting, tax, and business advisory services. You will work closely with our experienced professionals, assisting with day-to-day operations and helping support client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and financial record keeping

• Support the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reports

• Research tax regulations, accounting standards, and industry trends

• Assist in preparing client invoices and managing billing processes

• Assist with payroll processing and related documentation

• Support the team in reviewing financial documents and ensuring accuracy

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for accounting purposes

• Participate in internal meetings and contribute to brainstorming and project planning sessions

• Help in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for clients

  Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

  • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
