Full Stack Java Developer

This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable web applications across both frontend and backend layers, leveraging modern Java frameworks and UI technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across legacy and modern stack components, with the ability to work across multiple frameworks and contribute to complex system integrations.

Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (40 hours/week)

Pay: $25-$69/hour

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack Java-based applications across frontend and backend environments.
• Build and enhance UI components using Angular and/or React frameworks.
• Develop dynamic web applications using Java, JSP/JSPF, and modern JavaScript techniques.
• Work with legacy and modern UI technologies including vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout (KO), and templating frameworks.
• Implement and support UI components using AG-Charts/Grid.
• Maintain and integrate applications using Apache Tiles and other enterprise frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the full stack.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
• Strong backend experience with Java-based development.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React (required).
• Experience working with JSP/JSPF in enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with vanilla JavaScript and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience with Knockout (KO), jQuery, and jQuery templates.
• Experience with Apache Tiles and related MVC frameworks.
• Experience using AG-Charts/Grid or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of full stack application architecture and integration.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal oversight.

Nice to have:

• Experience modernizing legacy front-end frameworks to Angular or React.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale system integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
