Job Description

As a CDL Driver for Via, you’ll safely operate transit vehicles while providing exceptional customer service to riders in University of Wisconsin-Madison. You’ll play an important role in connecting students to reliable transportation every day.

What You’ll Do:

Safely operate transit vehicles while providing courteous, professional service to passengers
Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining a strong focus on safety
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
Communicate effectively with dispatch and respond to operational updates
Assist passengers as needed and provide excellent customer service
Complete required reports and documentation, including inspection, incident, and accident reports
Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures

Who You Are:

At least 25 years old
Hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driving License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement
Eligible to work in the United States
Able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the public
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, DMV record check, and criminal background check in accordance with applicable laws
Customer-focused, dependable, and committed to providing safe, reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $26/hour
