Corporate Services offers a challenging and stimulating variety of work in both delivery and support teams. The function utilises the expertise of eight specialisms that collectively enable the operational day-to-day running of the business to ensure that Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) delivers its objectives and maintains compliance with the requirements of being part of a Department of State. We cover: Business Support; Comms, Media & Marketing; Infrastructure & Estate Management; Policy Profession; Sales & Disposals; Occupational Health, Safety & Environment; Quality Management; and Security.
Working as a Quality Support Specialist, you will work day-to-day to provide a wide range of essential services and support across all the specialisms within the Corporate Services Group at DE&S Kineton. Duties will include but are not limited to, making arrangements for the Quality Review Board (QRB), book conference forms, send out calling notice, sending out agenda and producing minutes. You will also be responsible for general admin tasks, as well as supporting the Quality Manager with Quality Audits, producing coherent audit reports and process Maps, maintaining registers, assisting the with the collation & analysis of feedback and liaising with customers to ensure services provided by Quality DM Kineton meet their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver administrative support across specialisms as instructed and contained within the CSG Catalogue of Services and assignment specifications.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external specialism requests, providing advice and guidance, escalating to more senior colleagues where appropriate.
• Own logistical elements of activities and events such as arranging travel, booking venues or coordinating visits
• Support internal communications such as updating internal websites, distributing key information and acting as a focal point for other internal communications
• Manage document production, processing and maintenance as instructed e.g. any relevant papers for meetings, administration of hard copy classified documents, processing security clearance documents etc.What you will be assessed against
To be found successful you must demonstrate the following essentialcriteria:
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, or significant relevant experience gained
• Demonstration of the ability to manage work and deliver to time with a good attention to detail.
• IT literate
• Work well as part of a teamIt would benefit your application should you be able to demonstrate the following desirablecriteria:
• Familiar with the requirements laid down in the ISO 9001:2015 Standard (training will be given to the successful candidate).
