Job Description
Role Purpose
Colt are looking for three Finance Business Partners to cover these 3 functions:
- Strategy and Transformation
- Technology & Security
- Service Delivery & Network Operations.
These roles represent really exciting opportunities to work in a truly forward looking, cutting edge and innovative functions within the business. The Finance partner will act as a trusted commercial partner to the Senior Management Team of the different divisions and play a pivotal role in understanding, controlling and transforming the cost base.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with the VP of each function to develop and implement the strategy, whilst improving productivity, delivering transformation and profitability to drive business unit performance.
- Understand, anticipate and deliver internal and external customer needs.
- Accountable for the full cost base of the functions including fixed costs, capital expenditure and supporting insight, whilst supporting all commercial activity.
- Support the business to deliver profitable growth and fulfil customer requirements.
- Act as a commercial finance lead and contribute to negotiating contracts.
- Build and develop effective relationships, with leadership teams, customers and key stakeholders
- Challenge the current ways of thinking and define innovative ways of working to best serve our customers and the business.
- Communicate effectively in a regional and divisional matrix structure to ensure Colt delivers targets
- Identify, analyse and implement opportunities and solutions to drive business performance.
- Partner with leadership to add value to decision making, whilst exhibiting exceptional analysis and insight to influence and have a real positive impact on the performance of the business.
- Use data and fact-based analysis to anticipate needs and provide insights to the business for competitive decision making.
- Work with FP&A and the business to provide insight and support the delivery of month end, forecasts and budgets.
Skills & Experience
- A proven track record of progressively delivering growth and managing end to end financial performance, preferably in a global Telco/Technology environment.
- Able to operate in a fast paced and high-volume business with strong resilience and an ability to lead and effectively manage change .
- Proven commercial acumen and ability to contribute and drive decision making.
- Strong influential skills that leverage genuine engagement with cross functional and cross business teams to implement strategies and solutions for our customers and business.
- Proven ability to drive and meet specific metrics and goals.
- Builds productive and trusting relationships with employees, peers and leaders in a matrix organisation.

- Strong networking ability across the company at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, global and complex environment
- Excellent commercial acumen, results driven with attention to detail and high focus on performance.
- Displays solid judgement an ambitious, confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a calm and confident manner
- Proven track record of challenging key stakeholders to ensure the best decisions are made for Colt.
- The successful candidate relishes a challenge and is resilient.
