Tru Earth is looking for a General Labor to join our team!

The General Labor role is accountable for operating equipment in a warehouse and preparing items for further processing. Responsibilities include checking products, assembling, packing, or moving items to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Main Job Tasks, & Duties

  • Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols, use PPE, report hazards, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Production Support: Assemble products, inspect for defects, package for shipment, and move materials as needed.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently; participate in maintenance tasks.
  • Record Keeping & Quality Control: Maintain accurate records and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Training and Teamwork: Help train new team members, work collaboratively to achieve targets, and solve operational issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required

Education and Experience

  • High school education.
  • Experience in an assembly line or warehouse setting is an asset.
  • WHMIS Certification is an asset.

  • Physical Capability: Able to lift 20-40 lbs as required.
  • Sustainability Focus: Committed to environmental responsibility and reducing plastic use.
  • Professionalism & Ethics: Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates ethical behavior.

Wage: $19.30 – $21.30
