The General Labor role is accountable for operating equipment in a warehouse and preparing items for further processing. Responsibilities include checking products, assembling, packing, or moving items to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Main Job Tasks, & Duties

Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols, use PPE, report hazards, and maintain a clean work area.
Production Support: Assemble products, inspect for defects, package for shipment, and move materials as needed.
Equipment Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently; participate in maintenance tasks.
Record Keeping & Quality Control: Maintain accurate records and ensure products meet quality standards.
Training and Teamwork: Help train new team members, work collaboratively to achieve targets, and solve operational issues.
Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required

Education and Experience

High school education.
Experience in an assembly line or warehouse setting is an asset.
WHMIS Certification is an asset.

Wage: $19.30 – $21.30
