About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our service team and maintain commercial heating and cooling & refrigeration systems for our current and growing customer base.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in HVAC/R systems and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex issues, contributing to a high-quality experience for our clients.
HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
- Runs 3 calls a day, diagnose, troubleshoot, fixing HVAC issues and communicate findings with customers and completing paperwork.
- Check layout of existing heat devices and air conditioning units to plan work procedures.
- Service machinery by cleaning, lubricating or replacing shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts.
- Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
- Charge AC/Refrigeration systems, ensuring proper refrigerant levels and system functionality.
- Complete service-related forms and timecard reporting accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain company vehicles and tools in clean and orderly condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
- Some regular building maintenance tasks.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and airflow principles on high and low pressure systems.
- Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges, leak detectors, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
- Join the on-call rotation.
- Basic computer skills for work order systems and documentation
- Understanding of hydronics, air flow, and building controls.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record.
- EPA Certification and Heating/AC Certificate.
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces (with certification).
- A minimum of 3 years HVAC service experience
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform moderate manual labor
- Gas Service License,
Preferred
- OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and Rigger and Signal Certification.
