Role Description:

The Touring Agent role is a full-time remote position responsible for managing and growing touring opportunities for musical artists across domestic and international markets. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pitching tour dates to promoters and venues, negotiating performance fees and contract terms, and coordinating holds and confirmations on artist calendars. The Touring Agent will oversee routing and tour planning to optimize logistics, budgets, and market strategy, while maintaining clear communication with artists, managers, and internal teams. The role also involves tracking offers, agreements, and event details, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up. The Touring Agent will monitor market trends, ticket sales, and venue performance to make data-informed recommendations and support long-term touring strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in artist booking, touring, or live event management, with a strong understanding of the concert and festival landscape.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation, offer management, and working with promoters, venues, and talent buyers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tours, deadlines, and calendars simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with professional client-facing and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital tools and CRM or booking software to track deals and tour details.
  • Analytical skills to interpret ticket sales, market data, and touring performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information and sensitive negotiations.
  • Prior experience in a talent agency, promoter, or live entertainment company is strongly preferred; a background in music business or entertainment management is beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours aligned with industry demands, including occasional evenings or weekends based on tour activity.

 

Ideal Candidacy:

Actively seeking booking agents with knowledge of the LBGTQ+ market. Ideal candidate will already have relationships with LBTTQ+ clubs, prides, charities and other assorted event buyers. Experience in the field is optional, but must know and understand client roster. We are looking for reliable and mature individuals with a passion for music, entertainment and pop culture. Other desirable qualities include being detail oriented, having strong organizational skills, and possessing a warm, professional manner in person and on the phone. Qualified candidate must have computer, internet service, phone and the willingness to talk on the phone. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals, experience the inside of the entertainment field, be a part of the Artist / Band touring process. You will meet talented and interesting artists (Pop, Dance and R&B), industry personel, and help scout for new clients and performance opportunities. Responsibilities will include updating contact database, researching venues within a given arena, and generating new opportunities for our roster of artists. Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the ability to do Internet research.
