Full-Time Student Voice Coordinator (Equality and Diversity)

Job Description

NTSU has an exciting opportunity for a Student Voice Coordinator (Equality & Diversity) to join our Student Voice team. The post holder will be responsible for the coordination and development of Equality, Diversity and inclusion initiatives and the support of elected Diversity Representatives.

Our mission is to empower students to make NTU the best academic and personal experience for themselves and others and as a SU we strive to represent and celebrate our diverse student membership. The post holder will play a vital role in embedding under-represented groups in decision making and planning of services, and support us to lead the conversation about Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion on campus.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on some interesting projects, including facilitation of elections, training and supporting elected officers and volunteers and event planning.

We are looking for an individual that will model our values of being student-led, inclusive, supportive, forward-thinking, and ambitious. You will have a flexible approach to work and be willing to support the broader work of the Student Voice and membership teams. Evening and weekend work will be required at certain times of the year, depending on the organisation’s needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive and positive working relationships with various stakeholders. You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work on your initiative with minimal supervision.
