We are looking for a talented Machining Technician to join our team specializing in ConRod for our location in in Seymour, Indiana.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Must be aware of potential safety concerns due to heavy components and large equipment.
• Work with engineers, outside equipment suppliers, OCU technicians, etc. to effectively machine/build Beta, and production components.
• Flexibility to support “special needs” related to the development & machining of a new business (special tests, assemblies, different components, measurements, etc.)
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to work with people to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Positive attitude and good communications skills to facilitate production issues, visitors, etc.
• Must have demonstrated good organizational/housekeeping skills including and understanding of 5S.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Ability to work schedule – 1st Shift. Some mandatory and volunteer overtime available.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
