Position Summary
The Division of Rheumatology is actively seeking to recruit a MD/PhD physician scientist who is a BE/BC Clinical Academic Rheumatologist (rank commensurate with qualifications).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be expected to have outstanding research, clinical and mentoring/teaching skills. The candidate is required to contribute to the research programs, and either have an established track record of funded research or have demonstrated the ability or shown the potential to obtain peer-reviewed research funding relevant to diverse areas, within inflammatory disease, autoimmune disease, and/or rheumatic disease. There are opportunities for academic growth, career development and educational and research activities. The Division has an outstanding fellowship program, infusion suite and is actively engaged in clinical trials, and high quality basic research.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, or MD/PhD) and completed Rheumatology training from an accredited program.
