The What
Reporting directly to the Specialty Sales Manager, the Specialty Territory Manager is a highly motivated hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive Industrial sales and Retail environment. You must posse’s strong negotiation, merchandising, presentation, and product knowledge skills, and the ability to implement various sales and marketing programs to your customer base.

The How

  • Achieve and manage sales and margin targets with an emphasis on growth
  • Present and execute Marketing promotions and programs to assigned customer base; develop, execute and track account plans
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share with new distribution in under served markets
  • Coordinate with Marketing to design and execute “sell in” and “sell through” promotional plans to stimulate new business
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with end users and distribution accounts
  • Drive sales through end user activities, distributor sales work along; demos and end user calls
  • Provide and coordinate product training to end users and distribution partners
  • Plan and execute customer and end user events (trade shows) with a focus on product showcase and demonstrations
  • Provide feedback on competitive activity to the marketing group
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals with strong negotiation skills
  • Determine strategic planning related to new product lines
  • Perform other duties as required

What we need 

  • College or University completion in a Marketing, Business or relative field of study
  • 2yrs + industrial tools and/or accessory sales experience with a record of demonstrated achievements
  • Strong planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong MS office skills including – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
