Job Description

We are looking for a talented Principal Scrum Master to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate Business Unit in Indianapolis, IN/ home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Lean Agile and SAFe Mindset – Advocates for and leads others in the concepts of the Agile Manifesto and Lean thinking in support of adopting and applying the Scrum/SAFe principles and practices for the organization.
• Leads multiple cross-functional agile teams that may comprise a program from inception to completion; facilitates agile planning sessions with Product Owners and Agile Product Managers to determine the scope and objectives of each program increment.
• Expert in all Agile activities (e.g., Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)) to aid multiple teams in delivering solutions. Plans and monitors budgets, champions measurable business outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships for contract team members – to include forming statements of work, screening candidates, evaluating work items, and managing Ariba/Fieldglass processes.
• Analyze, recommend, and participate in agile lifecycle tool configuration and implementation.
• Coach team members on the proper data entry and flow of work within agile lifecycle management tools such as Clarity and JIRA.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant technology-related program
• Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Safe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) and Safe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certifications are highly preferred
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Scrum Framework within a SAFe implementation.
• Deep understanding of organizational change management techniques needed for agile transformations.
• Experience with DevOps tools a plus

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
