Full-Time I-9 Onboarding Coordinator
Job Description
The Role
We’re looking for a I-9 Onboarding Coordinator who will work with stakeholders to support a best in class onboarding experience.
- Executes the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification process for all new hires and rehires which includes review of all I-9 forms and acceptable identification documents for accuracy and compliance within established time requirements.
- Generates and analyzes system reports to track company compliance with federal I-9 regulations.
- Monitors employees who need to be re-verified and coordinates re-verification process with divisional contacts to ensure that expired document(s) are in accordance with legal requirements.
- Responsible for resolving incomplete E-Verify cases and ensuring appropriate parties properly follow the I-9 and E-Verify processes to ensure compliance with federal laws and coordinates with appropriate parties as needed.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience
- 2+ years of total work experience
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
- Prior E-Verify and I9 experience, preferred but not required
