Human Resources
Provide capable tools, processes and policies that support the selection and ongoing development of our workforce.
* Responsible for the execution of assigned projects which contribute to new and ongoing initiatives within one of many Human Resources sub-functional areas
* Support Human Resources activities for particular site, organizational group, business unit or region in areas such as: employee and labor relations, training, employment law, staffing, human resources, business process and policy execution, compensation and benefits, management and development of talent, analytical research and benchmarking
Degree Programs Considered: Bachelor’s, Master’s
Major Programs Typically Considered: Human Resources, Business Management, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Leadership & Innovation
Cummins Internship program criteria:
* Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
* Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
* Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 weeks and up to a maximum of 12 week commitment
* Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
* Willingness to learn from others on the job
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
