We’re a growing startup, and we’re looking for an Entry-Level Staff Accountant who is ready to learn and grow with us.
Job Description: Entry-level Staff Accountant who is the main point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients. While handling transactional processing and some analysis, you work directly with some interesting companies that are doing some really cool stuff. You won’t get this kind of exposure at a Big4 or corporate job!
During COVID-19, all work will be performed virtually. After that you will mostly work virtually, but you may travel to meet clients occasionally.
· Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Processing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
o Bank reconciliations / credit card statement reconciliation
o AP / AR / deferred revenue sub-ledger reconciliation
o Account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
o International consolidation and exposure to FASB 52
o Maintain and adhere to the close calendar
o Some cost accounting and analysis
o Assistance with executive reporting

You should also be:
· A recent college grad with a degree in Accounting who is eager to learn more, or have equivalent work experience.
· Well versed and comfortable with GAAP.
· Able to interpret and understand accounting in the real world, not just in books.
· Interested in working with a variety of clients.
· Comfortable with technology—we’re green!
· Realize the product is you and the agenda is the client.
· Comfortable in a startup environment.
· Reliable: you get the work done on time and take care of your clients.
Employment status: Full-time, Exempt
Salary range: $60,000-65,000/year DOE
