NEW HIGHER SALARY: $40,442 – $70,774
 
The Challenge
We are looking for a program coordinator II to join our DMV Field Operations Support team that supports and maintains the operational status of all License Plate Agencies, Venders, Contact Centers, and all state-owned offices across NC.
 
In this role, you will
    • Ensure our team delivers stellar customer service with prompt, complete, and accurate application, and technical support for all users of the State Titling and Registration System (STARS), Liability Insurance Tracking and Enforcement System (LITES), International Registration Plan (IRP), National Motor Vehicle Information System (NMVTIS) Credit Card Support (iNovah), IWPM (image retrieval), and online services (PayIT).
    • Ensure the team provides information to staff for resolving problems, researching vehicle registration, title records, and legal documents for acceptability and accuracy.
    • Manage the team that identifies and resolves system, equipment, and maintenance issues.
    • Apply your experience in one or more of the following areas:  DMV mainframe computer experience, reviewing and researching title, registration and/or legal documents for acceptability, Identifying and resolving fiscal, inventory, computer systems, or equipment issues, customer service with DMV diverse clientele.
What You Bring
    • Experience dealing with a diverse clientele and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
    • Experience interpreting and explaining policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
    • Experience reviewing detailed documents and records for accuracy and completeness.
    • Experience identifying problems, resolving issues, and making independent decisions.
    • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
 
Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree, and
    • 1+ year of relevant experience; or
    • An equivalent combination of training and experience.
