We are looking for a talented individual to help drive business development across our studios with a specific focus on North America.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be joining a global team of highly dedicated professionals providing world class service to the video games industry and will be charged with building partnerships both with the individual studios and the Solutions Architecture team based in London – initially focusing on our three LA Studios then expanding out across the entire service and suite of global Products.

The ideal candidate would be an accomplished sales executive with demonstrable success in growing new business in a Marketing Services with a thorough understanding of how to sell creative solutions to clients in a consultative manner. Direct experience of the video games market would be advantageous. In this role, the primary focus will be on new business generation, but some account management of existing and new accounts will be involved as well.

Whilst working to the Marking Service Line, the Business Development Manager will be part of the Global Business Development Team who have developed relationships across the industry. This role will align with the ways or working across Global Business Development to ensure consistent Keywords client experiences along with maintaining a consistent view of Global Business Development performance and initiatives.

Your Impact

  • Working directly with Marketing Service Line Leadership; develop new business sales to agreed sales target.
  • Identify new prospective clients, develop and execute sales development strategies for these.
  • Work with the Sales Director to develop a communications plan for the market.
  • Develop and execute contact strategies including cold calling, social and business networking.
  • Attend qualified trade conferences and provide on stand support where the Company is exhibiting.
  • Provide customer support, managing client expectations in collaboration with the Marketing Studios.
  • Follow the company’s chosen sales methodology and produce all related reports.
  • Qualify all sales leads, provide value/benefit assessments and generate plans to close.
  • Work with the service line to create value propositions and proposals for new and existing customers.
  • Act as Account Manager for selected customers, managing the relationship with the client, customer review meetings and participating in the communications with the client as planned.

Your Experience

  • Ability to work in a Matrix Structure of working to the Marketing Service line whilst within a Global Function
  • A demonstrable track record of Business Development growth within Marketing Services
  • Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Must be comfortable working at senior executive contact levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Refined communication skills across all communication channels.
  • Proven ability to work largely unaided in detecting, qualifying and closing new business.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets, word processing, and sales database tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management.

The salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and varies per state. The base for this position is between $80,000 – 120,000, plus commission eligibility based on predetermined targets.
