Full-Time Talent Acquisition Specialist DACH
Job Description
Colt is the New Standard in high bandwidth network and voice services for enterprises and wholesale customers in Europe, Asia and North America’s largest business hubs. With a global reach but a deep local presence, Colt is big enough to deliver and small enough to care.
About the Role:
Following an internal move we’re looking to hire an exceptional individual to join our award-winning Talent Acquisition team and to play a key role supporting our DACH business, primarily focusing on Germany. Your conscientious and proactive approach will be crucial as you lead the end to end hiring process, collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure the highest quality candidate experience.
This represents a fantastic opportunity for someone with an agency background to take their first step to move in-house or an experienced in-house recruiter already. The position will appeal to a highly motivated and driven recruiter that can confidently manage a variety of senior stakeholder relationships in order to ensure top talent is acquired by the firm.
Key Accountabilities:
- Partner with hiring managers and local HR teams to take ownership of identifying and engaging with potential future Colt employees across multiple geographies, focusing on Germany
- Successfully engage with passive candidates to gauge their motivation and fit to Colt rather than simply ‘selling’ an opportunity
- Interview and subsequently recommend candidates considering the parameters of the position and measuring them against Colt’s values and behaviours
- Define and coach on best practice to ensure a market-leading candidate/stakeholder experience
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to hiring managers and HR Business Partners in true partnership fashion, utilising data and market analysis to support your views
- Keep abreast of market trends in recruitment innovation and suggest adoption of suitable solutions that can contribute towards Colts wider hiring strategy
- Play your part in actively contributing to projects that will provide variation to your day to day recruiting responsibilities, and enhance the offering of Talent Acquisition within Colt
Skills & Experience Required:
- Fluency in German, ideally a native speaker, is imperative for this position
- Demonstrable track record of successfully recruiting in an agency or in-house environment within Germany and/or the DACH region. Experience recruiting across different business functions such as engineering, operations, sales etc would be hugely beneficial
- Able to demonstrate and live to the full Colt’s core values; Transformational, Outcome Focused, Customer First and Accountability
- Creativity to craft compelling role profiles and job adverts that will attract market-leading talent
- Super user of LinkedIn (plus other regional sites as appropriate including Xing), with the ability to search and locate the highest calibre candidate profiles
- Composed under pressure with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and, crucially, work at pace
- Results orientated with high levels of drive, commitment and resilience along with a can-do attitude
- Solid commercial business acumen, comfortable with advising hiring managers on suitable hiring strategies and making candidate recommendations that are reinforced with sound reasoning
- Ambition and desire to forge a career within a successful, high profile team that has gained hugely positive exposure at the highest levels within Colt
- Desire to support Colt in continuing to make successful progress with our diversity goals, including but not restricted to gender hiring, as well as to maintain the promotion internally of hiring from within in order to provide ongoing career opportunities for Colties
In addition to offering competitive salaries and incentive plans, a range of benefits and local rewards packages are offered to staff. Colt recognises the importance of a work life balance.
Some benefit examples are:
- Flexible working and relaxed dress code
- Two days annually to spend on volunteering opportunities
- Flexible benefits scheme
- Access to a virtual business school for on-going learning
- Business mentoring
