We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Business Manager, Amazon to join our E- Commerce team. This exciting and fast-paced role is responsible for all sales and marketing functions related to managing Compendium’s product portfolio offered on Amazon, identifying ways to drive consumer consumption of our products online, and ultimately is responsible for growing Compendium’s revenue generated though Amazon. This full-time position reports to the Director of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing and manages a vast array of job functions, including account management, business development and analysis, brand growth strategy development and execution, online sales fundamentals execution, and budget management.
Qualified candidates will possess a strong attention to detail, have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, be able to effectively work both independently as well as in a team environment, and must be a clear and concise communicator to both internal and external partners and clients.
Specific Responsibilities:
Content Management
- Understand product and product line specific key business objectives to create and deliver growth strategies on
- Manage product uploads and catalog so content is accurate and optimized, ensuring items get into the Amazon
- Partner with Editorial and Design team to obtain creative support to maintain product detail pages, brand store and additional site
- Oversee and execute a SEO strategy that elevates Compendium’s product assortment on
- Develop a plan and execution strategy to create, maintain, and optimize product detail pages and A+ content.
- Manage and enhance the content on the brand store to drive sales and align with Compendium’s product
Marketing & Promotional Campaigns
- Continuously monitor and adjust price, content, and marketing strategies to ensure consistent winning of the buy
- Lead and execute promotional discounts and campaigns via Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) tailored to consumer buying habits and Amazon’s promotional
Logistics
- Works with Accounting and Warehouse teams to complete chargeback analysis and identify root causes.
- Collaborates with Inventory Analyst to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to maximize availability and
- Partner with cross functional teams to garner support to improve supply chain, packaging and cost reduction
General
- In-depth knowledge of how to work with Amazon effectively through Vendor Central and Seller Central.
- Manage sales and inventory reports for Amazon, and use the reports to develop pricing, promotional, marketing, and inventory
- Flexibility to contribute at all levels of the business from high level strategy to the day-to-day hands on
- Actively engaging in company culture and leadership, driving a fun, positive, virtual work environment that is collaborative and results
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, and/or +2 years of retail, sales, e- commerce or account management
- E-Commerce experience, digital marking, or experience managing Amazon Vendor Central or Amazon Seller Central is a
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data/trends to effectively develop strategies
- Effective at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work
- Experience working with data driven
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with high proficiency in
