Position Purpose
This position reports to the Assistant Director for Evergreen Tacoma and plays a key role in recruiting and admitting a diverse and talented student body to The Evergreen State College Tacoma Campus. This position implements college admissions operations and recruitment strategies, supports students with FAFSA/WAFSA, DCYF, and other financial aid procedures, utilizes the college’s Admissions CRM system, and collaborates with campus stakeholders to support student success and retention efforts.
This position involves high interpersonal interaction with prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and administration of the college, community representatives, and other higher education personnel. The work is done both virtually and at various locations around the state of Washington, as well as on-site. In addition to one-on-one conversations with individuals, advising is conducted in small and large group settings. This is a dynamic position integral to shaping the future of the campus community.
This is a full-time, overtime eligible position on the Tacoma campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules.
Salary and Benefits: $3,717 – $4,463 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
