Your Impact

The Center Director (CD) provides leadership to program staff and monitors implementation of program services; reports to Core Program Director. The CD coordinates with community agencies and funder to ensure quality service is provided. The CD is also responsible for hiring, supervising, and training staff.

Your Skills and Duties

  • Supervise and manage Program operations within budget and agency policy and procedures.
  • Ensure that required documentation, reports and files are current and comply with Agency and Funder requirements.
  • Advocate for and secure necessary supports for quality implementation of program services including written procedures/manuals, training and consultation.
  • Hire staff as per agency guidelines.
  • Provide back-up on-call support to the CRS.
  • Take the lead in ongoing coordination between all collaborating agencies to hold and facilitate monthly/quarterly leadership meetings and any/all additional meetings necessary to assure smooth functioning of collaborative.
  • Conduct topic specific Quarterly Reviews; Best Practice Reviews inclusive of file and curriculum audits.
  • Complete and submit monthly reports and F5 Quarterly Reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide F5 with outcomes data and reports as needed.
  • Act as the liaison between all F5 centers and the agency.
  • Accurately report incidents, issues and concerns to agencies, funders in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate and coordinate team staff meetings.
  • Maintain working relationship with staff, collaborative agencies and referring agencies.
  • Ensure that the CRS and staff are providing program curriculum which is tied to outcomes: Service Plan, Ages and Stages, SIDS Education, Parent/Child Attachment, etc.
  • Manage hiring new staff.
  • Provide Reflective Supervision to CRS and all staff. Maintain a realistic view of staff performance, effects performance plans and conduct progressive discipline as needed.
  • Complete own administrative paperwork (time sheets, mileage, time off requests, phone bills & other expense reimbursements, weekly schedule, etc.) on time, as well as manage team to do the same.
  • Maintain client confidentiality per agency standards.
  • Utilize a participatory management style whereby staff input is solicited and staff is informed of decisions made related to their input.
  • Provide crisis intervention and problem solving to center clients as needed.
  • Ensure that the database management system is maintained accurately and kept current.
  • Assist in resolving payment and other accounting issues.
  • Prepare and conduct timely accurate evaluations of employees under his/her supervision.
  • Serve as Center Safety Coordinator.
  • Monitor all legal proceedings.
  • Coordinate the development of annual operational plan and budget.
  • Participate in relevant community based decision making and advocacy groups.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to and responsiveness to cultural differences.
  • Support and model Aspiranet’s values, represent the agency in a professional manner, and abide by the agency’s Professional Code of Ethics.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with staff, parents, children and community resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Core Program Director.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, early childhood, human development or related field. (Master’s preferred)
  • Three years of full-time employment in the field of family strengthening with experience supervising staff

Licenses and Certifications

  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
