Full-Time Director, Technology

Location:  Any US Location (Headquarters based in Atlanta, GA)

Position Summary: The Director, Technology provides leadership for current information technology, cybersecurity and systems across the Enterprise. The role directs the planning and implementation of strategic and tactical IT initiatives, cybersecurity oversight, and manages enterprise-wide systems ranging from every day cloud and local applications to Salesforce CRM and systems’ integrations. This role is successful at management through cost-effectiveness, efficiency, customer and user satisfaction, project management, business requirement documentation, policy creation and management, training, and more all while ensuring all cloud- and local- systems are managed in safe, sound and secure environments. Identifies new technologies and partnerships to strengthen the Enterprise while continuing to improve customer and user experiences. Management of, enhancements and new opportunities in CRM systems and integrations, data analytics, vendor management, and cybersecurity will be critical success factors in the business’s short and long-term strategic initiatives.

Position Functions and Responsibilities include:

IT and Systems 

  • Manages day-to-day support of IT needs and issues including onboarding, offboarding, account access, troubleshooting issues, and software support of enterprise systems (Zoom, Asana, Office 365, PDF element, Submittable, Sharepoint, Copiers, Phone, survey tools, and more ,etc.)
  • Works closely with outsourced IT consultant, and supervises the Coordinator, IT and Operations
  • Works closely with the CFO to drive data architecture and systems integration decisions
  • Researches, recommends, plans, and deploys all new software and systems
  • Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts, and writing specifications.
  • Reviews invoices and contracts as needed
  • Oversees short- and long-term hardware management, works with vendors as needed, and provides direction internally
  • Manages IT, Cybersecurity & Systems budgets
  • Creates, updates and manages IT policies and procedures
  • Ensures business continuity of operations reliant upon technology including but not limited to daily backups, recovery and uptime
  • Manages and supports a hybrid working environment of staff (Atlanta office based as well as remote staff all over the country) and the IT needs

 Cybersecurity

  • Oversees cybersecurity practices and policies implementation
  • Manages cybersecurity vendor and its 24/7 event and activity monitoring in the SEIM, responds to daily incident reports, escalates internally per procedures
  • Reviews weekly Cyber Threat Intelligence reports, and Cybersecurity Defense Center dashboards and creates swift tactical plans to remediate systems, apply and deploy patches and report to Technology Advisory Committee at the board level
  • Attends bi-weekly cybersecurity meetings with Cybersecurity vendor
  • Responds to internal requests for contract cybersecurity requirements driven from 3rd party partner contracts
  • Oversees annual, quarterly cybersecurity training programs for staff

 Salesforce

  • Oversees Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, the data governance, all business processes, workflows, reporting, systems and apps integrations to effectively deliver and optimize an internal CRM that supports the organization’s ability to optimize customer relationships, maintain a centralized database, support key operations and program and scale business processes.
  • Supervises the Salesforce Administrator

 Digital Product Ownership

  • Supervises the Product Owner that manages requirements gathering, agile methodology and sprint cycle management for internal digital products including PVSA, Disney, Engage and Salesforce
  • Works with VP, Digital to understand the priorities of digital products and roadmap to effectively support the product owner

Core Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated success in managing IT functions, including computer operations, systems development, voice and data communications, database management, and systems security.
  • Proven experience effectively managing and participating in a technological partnership with internal and external IT resources.
  • Relentless pursuit of providing outstanding customer experience

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science-related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience of IT and Cybersecurity management
  • Experience: Cloud-based systems, Salesforce, data analytics/systems integration
