Games for Change empowers game creators and social innovators to drive real-world change using games that help people to learn, improve their communities, and contribute to making the world a better place.
Games for Change seeks an organized, proactive, and team-oriented Production Coordinator to provide support for the production team at G4C. This person will report to the Director of Production.
This is a full-time entry level position operating remotely currently but may eventually transition to working in the NYC office.
The Production Coordinator is expected to have the following skills and dispositions:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills verbal, written, technological, and interpersonal;
- Ability to research and synthesize information quickly;
- Detail-oriented and able to manage personal workflow on multiple tasks and deliverables.
- Flexible, independent and willing to pitch-in where needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide on the ground support for programs and events including site visits, set up and technology support. Support Production Manager(s) in planning and production of internal and external programs
- Join planning calls and debriefs, maintaining documentation for each program as assigned
- Provide support with pre and post program data entry, evaluation and reporting. This includes developing spreadsheets, word documents, contact lists, presentations, and forms, all with direction from Production Manager(s).
- Load, test, and help research technology needs for each given program
- Act as a technical facilitator on assigned virtual and in-person programs, including hackathons, game jams, arcades, workshops, etc.
- Coordinate with Program Lead(s) to develop and execute communication/outreach material for each program, including emails, updates, public releases and newsletters
- Travel to event/program locations as needed.
