Full-Time Customer Acquistion Lead
Job Description
At iwoca, our mission is to reach 1 million small businesses with innovative financing solutions that make it easier for them to focus on their business. One of the biggest challenges that small businesses face is getting invoices paid fast enough. This delay is making them less productive, less profitable and less in control. We’ve been building iwocaPay to address this problem. iwocaPay is the UK’s first invoice checkout solution that blends the best of payments and finance to get invoices paid faster.
Our early customers are enthusiastic about the product and now we need someone to accelerate growth and take iwocaPay to the thousands of UK businesses who need it. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining how we reach, influence and engage the right businesses about iwocaPay. You’ll be data-driven – able to blend both quantitative analysis with qualitative insight to make smart choices. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, commercial, operations, and other areas of iwoca’s marketing to grow our seller network and explore how we can improve our customers’ experience. You’ll also be managing our existing channels, ensuring we optimise and build on what works, and iterate or kill what doesn’t. This role also brings a longer-term opportunity to build the growth team as iwocaPay scales.

Requirements
What you’ll be responsible for
- Defining and leading growth strategy to drive acquisition and adoption of iwocaPay. This includes managing existing channels, experimenting with new channels and working with accountant & sales teams (including exploring influencer, ambassador and affiliate opportunities).
- Working closely with our product and operations teams to leverage our buyers and sellers to bring in new customers by designing a referral campaign.
- Owning our digital performance strategy, including developing a testing strategy across multiple digital channels, PPC, paid social, etc.
- Owning the marketing budget, ensuring budget and forecasts are developed with the iwocaPay co-leads and reviewed monthly and quarterly.
- Actively working across the iwocaPay team (including product, tech, design & operations) to design and execute growth ideas and working closely with iwoca’s core marketing team on cross-sell opportunities and brand alignment.
- Reviewing competitive offerings, helping us stay up to speed on the latest industry trends.
- This is a hands-on role for someone ready to get into the details. However, as iwocaPay grows you’ll have the opportunity to design and build out a healthy and dynamic growth team.
We’d love you to bring
- 4-5 years of experience across the full mix of digital marketing, including referrals, web, email, social, content and performance marketing.
- Experience in conducting pricing analysis and promotional strategies to support new product adoption.
- A data-driven mentality – with a bias to action, capable of working with quantitative and qualitative indicators to evaluate success and make smart decisions quickly.
- Prior experience in growth roles in a cross-functional environment, ideally with early stage products.
- If you’ve worked with small businesses and/or in payments or lending, it’s a plus.
