Website Development Technical Interview Specialist (Part-Time / Contract)

Seeking an experienced Website Development Technical Interview Specialist to conduct structured interviews for candidates applying to web development roles. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for professionals who want to earn extra income while leveraging their expertise in web technologies.
You will design and deliver technical assessments, evaluate coding/problem-solving skills, and provide objective feedback to hiring teams.
Responsibilities
• Conduct live technical interviews with web developer candidates (front-end, back-end, or full-stack).
• Create or adapt coding exercises, whiteboard challenges, and scenario-based questions.
• Assess candidates’ skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, databases, and general web architecture.
• Deliver clear, structured evaluations in written form after each interview.
• Provide hiring teams with insights on technical ability, problem-solving skills, and communication style.
Requirements
• Must be based in the United States.
• Native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Professional experience in website development (5+ years preferred).
• Prior experience conducting technical interviews or mentoring/junior developer evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of coding standards, debugging, and best practices in modern web development.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to conduct video interviews.
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with different interview platforms (CoderPad, HackerRank, Codility, etc.).
• Background in technical recruiting or teaching.
