Job Description

Wastewater Collections Worker

Inspects, maintains, repairs, and operates the City’s wastewater system. Installs, services, cleans, and repairs wastewater lines using a high-pressure truck and other equipment; completes work orders. Sets up truck safety devices; opens manholes; inserts high pressure hose and vacuum debris tubes. Equivalent to a high school diploma PLUS (2) years of experience as a laborer, maintenance worker, or construction worker. Valid driver’s license is required. Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with tanker and airbrake endorsement must be obtained within one year of employment; Level II Wastewater Certification is required.

 

SALARY: $17.40 / Hour
