We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Vice President, User Experience (Product Designer) to join our Corporate Trust department. This role can be located in either Manchester or Pittsburgh PA, Lake Mary Florida.

This will be a hybrid position.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

As a Product Designer, we are looking for an individual with a well-rounded understanding of the entire design process, including user research, journey mapping, storyboarding, wireframing, visual and interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing.

You’re able to tackle complex user problems independently and deliver highly polished and detailed UI design solutions through continuous iteration and improvement.

You’re able to communicate your design concepts clearly and effectively both visually and verbally.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead design projects through the entire product lifecycle, from user research to solution implementation
  • Lead design thinking workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals, outline problems, and generate design concepts
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to understand user needs, pain points and behaviors, translating such findings into actionable design solutions
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows, iterating based on feedback and usability testing results
  • Conduct user testing to determine the effectiveness of your design and gather qualitative and quantitative feedback to continually improve user experience design
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of the design solutions that deliver value to our end-users
  • Create and maintain design guidelines, pattern libraries, and design systems in alignment with enterprise principals to ensure consistency and coherence across various products and features
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Extensive years of progressive professional experience on a product design team
  • A four-year college degree preferred.
  • Proficient utilizing Figma and Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
  • Jira and Confluence a big plus.
  • Working in an Agile team strongly preferred.
  • Has an exceptional product design portfolio with result-driven case studies
  • Has excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbally and in writing); ability to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be highly user focused and passionate about design with strong understanding of design principles and user centered design thinking methodology
  • Has a thorough understanding of design systems, and how to apply and contribute to them
