Full-Time Talent Management Strategy – Executive Director (Offsite)

We are looking for an accomplished Talent Management Strategy Executive Director (Offsite) to transform Talent Management enterprise wide. This position serves as a key member of the Talent Management Leadership Team and will be based from your home office.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Collaborates and partners with human resources, business and functional leadership to develop company-wide talent management strategies, programs and initiatives to meet the Talent Management Aspirational Vision.

* Directs the overall planning, design and implementation of enterprise wide talent management strategies for the company and monitors the achievement of the strategic goals.

* Ensures alignment of talent strategies with overall business and functional strategies and objectives, analyzes HR trends and adapts Talent Management processes.

* Prepares key materials for the Compensation and Talent Committee of the Board of Directors.

* Leads talent strategy development including communication and change management in areas such as leadership development, talent acquisition, learning and development.

* Ensures the development of performance metrics; monitors the impact of talent management initiatives and processes on organization and business results; sponsors initiatives focused on achieving performance excellence.

* Establishes and manages the annual operating plan for enterprise wide talent management programs or services; plans for long-term talent management organizational investments.

* Directs project teams in the functional design, implementation and change management of company-wide talent management tools and processes; ensures effective stakeholder communications.

* Builds and maintains effective partnerships with business, functional, regional and Corporate HR stakeholders.

* Keeps up to date with new trends, best practices, tools and processes.

* Coaches and mentors one or two levels of direct reports assesses performance and provides constructive feedback.

 

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Ensures DE&I is embedded in all Talent Management processes and programs

* Global perspective – takes a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.

* Change Management – applies the Cummins structured process and tool set for engaging individuals and organizations through change to achieve and sustain business results and outcomes.

* Organizational Development and Effectiveness Consultation – assess organizational performance strengths and gaps by conducting comprehensive assessments, interpreting data and engaging leaders to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness; recommends intervention(s) aligned with Cummins HR approach to influence course corrections and evaluates the results.

 

Education/Experience

* College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.

* Masters in HR or MBA preferred.

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary range: 178K – 194K

 

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after taking into account relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

 

Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
