3^rd Shift – Shop Operations Team Manager

We are looking for a talented Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business based in Rocky Mount, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Continuous Process Improvement – Recognizes areas in which a process can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce process cost and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.
• This role will manage up to 50 direct reports
• Collaborates – Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Develops talent – Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.
• Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis – Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College/University degree preferred, however will accept 8+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
• Comp time and/or paid OT available
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
