JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION The Business Systems Analyst III (Scrum Master) serves as a liaison between the client and the information technology organization from project inception through implementation in order to provide customer-centric solutions that solve business needs. The individual in this role facilitates team level processes, oversees execution, escalates impediments so the team can reach its goals, coordinates as needed with other scrum teams, and communicates status and progress. - Enables a high performing scrum team through resolution of interpersonal conflicts, challenges, and opportunities for growth
- Acts as a servant leader to the team, driving the team to coordinate activities and tasks to meet iteration goals
- Facilitates team level ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, refinements, review, retrospectives), meetings and events to support the delivery of business value. Coordinates team preparation for ART launches and ART events as applicable.
- Ensures work items are tracked and visibility maintained for the team and/or ART via program boards and other information radiators. Generates reports and metrics to assess progress and performance.
- Reports status to Portfolio Program Management and Release management functions in support of related activities.

- Identifies, classifies, mitigates, and properly escalates risks.
- Ensures Scrum teams are practicing and following core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, quality, continuous improvement, transparency, and empiricism.
- Provides performance feedback and coaching to the team and less experienced Scrum Masters
- Analyzes operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
- Serves as a liaison between the mortgage and home equity servicing community and the application development organization in order to define business solutions and collaborate with development to define the technical solutions to meet user and business needs.
- Serves as an integral participant in the business process redesign and documentation for new or changing technology.
- Provides documentation for new technology or changes to existing technology to meet business and technical requirements.
- Researches business strategies and provide recommendations on best practices and changes in technology for mortgage and home equity servicing solutions.
- Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business and information technology from initial requirements to final implementation.
- Creates project artifacts as needed and conducts a variety of test cases to confirm the solution will meet the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
- Educates internal clients and the information technology organization on enhanced functionality and provides support as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. SAFe Scrum Master Certification is highly preferred. At least one additional Agile Certification is a plus for this position (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Scaled Agile Framework Practitioner (SAFe-SP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other similar Agile certifications) ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - Experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
- Strong knowledge of Lean Agile practices, adequately trained and knowledgeable in agile work management standards, activities and key metrics required at the team level desired
- Experience managing deliverables and generating team reports and metrics
- Servant leader focused on delivering value and continuous improvement
- Ability to work with all levels of organizations and various personalities to keep teams focused on delivery
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, and different Agile frameworks (XP, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe)
- Skilled with various Agile tools a plus (i.e. Rally, Jira, Version One Confluence, Agile Central, TFS)
- Experience as a Coach or Scrum Master for distributed teams both on and offshore a plus
- Previous hands on experience with application development and support, as well as banking and/or financial services experience preferred
- Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely differing viewpoints
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through collaboration
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical and non-technical information to any audience

- Prior Mortgage or Home Equity Servicing experience highly preferred
