The responsibilities of the sales manager include:
• Drives sales, achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintains and strengthens customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
• Develops new customer relationships and strengthens current customer relationships that enable identification of a customer’s needs, business model and buying process.
• Independently develops/executes account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners.
• Develops opportunities to increase sales by identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers.
• Collects and assesses customer data from internal and external sources; compares against historical data to determine useful inputs and create a forecast of future consumption patterns.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be a success in your role you will need:
• Demonstratable experience in a Sales Management or Business Development Position
• Experience in one, or a combination of the following industries: Industrial Gases; Renewable Energy (Solar PV or Hydrogen); Energy related; Oil & Gas; or Chemicals
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales or a related subject, (Extensive sales related experience is also acceptable)
• Full clean driving license
Salary and Benefits:
• Salary between £47,200 and £57,800 dependent on experience
• Defined contribution pension scheme – company contributions up to 9%
