Full-Time Sales Analytics Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

Collect, and analyze sales related data to support management decision-making, and to help drive sales. Communicate with multiple internal teams, and report findings in a professional, and accurate format. Work with Sales team and Sales Operations to identify, and facilitate the reporting needs of the organization. Assist in reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of all Sales revenue data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Quickly learn key ad sales metrics, and their role in analyzing strategic business initiatives
Leverage data from multiple systems for standard and ad hoc reporting
Analyze and distribute weekly reports to aid executives in monitoring Sales performance
Develop methods and tools for assessing large amounts of data
Use sales prediction software, and modeling to determine future sales trends
Identify and communicate data discrepancies or accuracy issues to management
Understand and comply with all data governance and reporting guidelines
Guide sales reps in entering accurate forecasts in CRM
Collaborate on research and analysis projects by gathering and analyzing data
Work with management and peers on ideas that could simplify or streamline processes
Demonstrate a drive for growth and commitment to learning
Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers across the organization
Curate knowledge of each department’s role within the company
Seek out knowledge of trends affecting the industry in all relevant areas
QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; must be a team player and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume; must be able to have a strong & positive working relationship with all employees. Additionally, strong candidates have:

Strong analytical ability and aptitude for numbers; ability to work with and manipulate large budgets and revenue numbers, as well as compute rates, ratios, percentages, fractions, and CPM calculations
Familiarity with Power BI or other data-visualization tools
Familiarity with CRM software or other account management systems
Passionate attention to detail
Demonstrated high standards of quality and accuracy in preparing reports
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize, and work on multiple deliverables simultaneously
Good communication (written and verbal) skills with all levels of the organization
Customer service/solutions focused mindset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must!  High level knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Access preferred
Must be self-starting, flexible, highly trainable, energetic, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Experience and Training:

Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Experience: 1-3 years of related experience in sales reporting (advertising, media buying/planning, or media sales a plus)

Education: College degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in advertising, media, sales, or related field

Licensure / Certification: N/A
