The Role…
To build and execute the shopper marketing plan and support the wider marketing team
What you need to deliver…
• To act as the main contact across retail accounts on all shopper marketing matters and be the key implementer of initiatives.
• To be the voice of the shopper internally and externally. To be responsible for the planning and execution of all shopper activation in the retail channel to bring our brand to life in store and online.
• Develop and execute the shopper marketing calendar. Supporting the commercial team and leveraging all opportunities within retailer accounts through relevant range and secondary space recommendations.
• Be the eyes and ears of the shopper by proactively monitoring and evaluating activation in the market each month. Use insights to provide recommendations for shaping the future shopper plan whilst maximising ROI.
• Responsible for production of effective campaigns to drive brand and product awareness, trial and increase rate of sale within key retail customers.
• To utilise market, retailer and shopper data (Nielsen, loyalty) to aid business thinking and planning.
• Create best practice shopper toolkits e.g., NPD & EPD launches, seasonal activations etc.
• Supporting the Category Marketing Manager by maintaining monthly performance updates, NPI, EPD and competitor launch tracking and creation of account specific selling stories.
• To support wider marketing team including Vet Marketing support.
• Working closely with commercial team to create and revise account specific plans that deliver stand out point of purchase activation such as POS materials, FSDUs and SRPs.
• Responsible for ensuring all plans are actionable and fit the overall commercial and brand strategies.
• To manage the agreed shopper budget, tracking spend throughout the year aligning to business priorities.
• To own and manage external agency relationships as required (e.g., design, print management, retailer) ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to both brand and retailer guidelines.
