JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
The Recruiting Coordinator I provides support to the internal Corporate Recruiting team managing onboarding activities, to include reference check requests, background requests, background status updates, Form I-9 processing, obtaining work authorization documents and verifying accurateness/completeness for all applicable employ ee forms.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensures that new hires have provided all paperwork required for compliance and processes the pre-employment background checks.
* Creates and runs reports for the recruiting department.
* May assist recruiters with scheduling and coordinating internal and external interviews, as well as issuing assessments when applicable.
* May respond to recruiting inquiries from hiring managers and/or candidates via e-mail, system or telephone on behalf of the recruiters.
* Provides exceptional service to all candidates, new hires, employees and managers.
* Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System (ATS – Workday) as needed.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); preferably Workday
* Prior experience verifying Form I-9’s for accuracy and completeness, as well as obtaining appropriate work authorization documents
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers and employees within corporate environment.
* Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
* Intermediate skill level in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to understand employment law (Fair Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action)
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
Recruiting Coordinator I
Entry-level role into the job family. Works under the close supervision of management with limited latitude to make decisions. Answers simple to moderately complex inquiries from employees, management and potential candidates. Provides administrative support to the recruiters.
Typically requires up to three (3) years of experience.
