Full-Time Production Supervisor
Job Description
As the Production Supervisor (3rd Shift) you will have the opportunity to lead operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner. Schedule: This is a 3rd shift position.Typical work schedule is 9:30pm – 630am (Sunday night -Friday morning)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities of associates, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Champion safety and environmental initiatives to promote a secure workplace.
- Develop and train associates, empowering them to excel in their roles.
- Maintain a strong emphasis on quality and customer service excellence.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
- Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the successful launch of new products.
- Manage resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
- Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
- Lead and mentor associates, promoting teamwork and growth in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven leadership ability
- Hands-on leader with sense of urgency
- Excellent coaching and teambuilding skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction skills
- Experience with E21 or similar ERP system preferred
- Understanding of the daily scheduling process preferred
- Strong ability to drive change
