If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, we have an opening for a Production Manager (Components) in Mississauga, ON. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead the Manufacturing of various components related to Hydrogen Fuel Cell and Electrolyser production.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Lead manufacturing of components for Electrolyser (EL) and Fuel Cell (FC) products (MEA, Plate, Seals, etc.).
* Provide manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
* Identify, develop and implement best practices and improvements to the manufacturing processes to improve production rates, process yields, reduce cost, and decrease product variability.
* Communicate with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.
* Estimating costs and preparing budgets for projects and annual plans
* Drive demand, create shop orders, and determine shortages in our ERP system
* Lead annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.
* Work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
* Ensure all safety and processing procedures are followed.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* Post-Secondary degree in (i.e. Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.)
* Experience delivering LEAN manufacturing techniques.
Experience:
* Strong Kaizen / Continuous Improvement mindset.
* Proven experience managing Production in a manufacturing setting.
* LEAN Manufacturing experience.
* Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.
* Previous experience leading Injection Molding and Compression Molding work is considered an asset.
* Roll to Roll processing (reel-to-reel processing) experience is highly desired.
* Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
* Experience leading a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol and Corporate HSE policies.
