We are looking for a talented Product Validation Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Turbo Technologies in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• System Requirements Engineering – Uses appropriate methods and tools to translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements to which designs are developed.
• Product Verification and Validation Management – Develops product systems validation plans from a variety of inputs to identify failure modes, while managing product risk.
• Product Development Execution, Monitoring and Control – Plans, schedules, coordinates and executes.
• Product Problem Solving – Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Participates in TFE (Technical Functional Excellence) initiatives at the BU level, helping drive improvements to related processes and tools.
• Coaches and/or mentors less experienced engineers in the System Integration team.
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer work experience in a relevant discipline area is required .
• At least three (3) years of professional Engineering experience.
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
