Full-Time Product Owner
Job Description
Tech Soft 3D is the global leader in 3D engineering applications, and we are currently looking for a full time Product Owner to collaborate with our teams to define, plan and prioritize product objectives. The individual in this role will be an influencer, a strategist, a visionary and a project manager all in one, always working to keep the spirit of service alive. They can look out at the horizon and know which services, features, and products we need to implement to stay competitive. They also know when to exit products and services and are comfortable with the entire product lifecycle.
This role is open as a remote position in the US (East Coast Preferred) and in Europe (France preferred).
What You Will Do:
- Transform objectives into the project roadmap: Use your expertise to define sprint goals, serve the client needs, and provide feedback along the way. Your experience in writing acceptance criteria for user stories will be applied in this role!
- Maximize squad effectiveness: Lead backlog refinement and continually work to prioritize; make appropriate adjustments as required for success of the project. Identify gaps related to sprint goals, release planning, partner commitments; report gaps to responsible party to ensure follow up action occurs. Lead reviews with squad and other stakeholders to demonstrate progress and collect relevant feedback during sprint
- Act as a leader and positive role model for the Product Team: Leverage your skills and experience to inspire and motivate the team! Demonstrate company core values, communicate and promote company vision and support the continuous improvement effort.
The Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years in a consultant, product owner or project management role interacting with engineer
- Strong Domain knowledge (Market, Business, Partner Needs, Technology)
- Proficiency in CAD, CAE, BIM required
- In depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles
- Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Creative problem solver
- Positive mindset, determination, courage, and ability to set goals/evaluate, and say no when needed
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Critical eye for efficiency and best practices
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Experience You Should Definitely Brag About:
- MA in Computer Science or Engineering
- Working with/Leading a global team
- Experience defining and setting up KPIs and objectives
- Proficient in French & English languages
