Part-Time Product Manager – TruePath AI
Job Description
Career Path Services is launching TruePath, an AI-enabled workforce platform designed to help individuals navigate pathways to employment and economic mobility. This work is supported by a competitive innovation award from the GitLab Foundation AI for Economic Opportunity initiative. We are seeking a Product Manager to help coordinate the development and pilot launch of this platform.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, public impact, and program operations, working closely with engineers, workforce leaders, and external partners to bring an early-stage AI system from concept to real-world pilot. The Product Manager will help guide development cycles, coordinate technical and program partners, and translate project goals into actionable work streams as the team builds and tests the TruePath platform with real users. This is a startup-style innovation project operating inside a mission-driven organization. The team is building, testing, and iterating quickly to explore how AI can responsibly expand access to jobs, training, and economic opportunities.
This role is project-based with a planned duration of one year, concluding in April 2027. This position will be hybrid and part time, approximately 30 hours per week (with some flexibility based on candidate preference for more or less hours). While most of the work will be remote, candidate must live in the greater Seattle area and be willing to travel locally for weekly in-person meetings in King County.
Career Path Services values the power of experience and perspective, and endeavors to build upon this vital strength. We are passionate about building and sustaining a working environment of belonging for all of our staff and customers. We believe every member on our team enriches our culture by exposing us to a broad range of ways to understand and engage with the world, identify challenges, and to discover, design, and deliver solutions. We are committed to attracting, recruiting, retaining and advancing an engaged team that is responsive to the needs of our diverse clients.
