Overview: As a Product Manager you will be responsible for helping drive a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The Product Manager will develop relationships with cross functional teams, clients, and our customers. They will utilize experience and knowledge to drive fitting software and digital solutions product development and enhancements that benefit the customer.
What you’ll do:
- Establish brand/product strategies, including development, implementation and evaluation of marketing plans.
- Analyze and evaluate product/brand sales and profitability to plan. Inform senior management of areas of concerns; develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Define new product development priorities. Work closely with R&D, regional market contacts, Audiology team, Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing for appropriate input. Manage documentation and project plans and provide product design input into and throughout the NPD process.
- Ensure regulatory compliance of the products, accompanying documents and all other deliverables needed for a successful market introduction.
- Manage product life cycle, from development to launch to product discontinuance. Evaluate product success, engineering changes, profitability, market penetration; recommend and approve components as required. Develop and implement required corrective action plans, including recommendations for product improvements and/or deletions.
- Coordinate product launch activities including product/sales training for sales personnel, customer service and customers, approving support materials, pricing, packaging, etc., and being a champion for fitting software and digital solutions in the product launch process.
- Analyze and evaluate new product launches. Take necessary corrective action, suggest changes to processes to prevent these from happening again.
- Act as the global product management contact for subsidiaries, international sales and agents. Able to represent the product in local launch events.
What you bring to the team:
- University degree in Marketing, Business or Audiology preferred
- Previous product management, sales and/or marketing experience.
- Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Written and verbal communication – ability to work on project documentation
- Great organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to advocate for the customer and the product
- Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills
