Position Purpose
This position is responsible for all facets of planned giving, including managing and growing a planned giving program plan and identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospective and committed planned giving donors. The incumbent serves as the primary manager of planned giving prospects and assists other development officers in strategies to identify and secure planned gifts. This position is responsible for leading planned giving marketing efforts, creating stewardship materials, and envisioning and delivering stewardship events. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Major and Planned Giving, this position works collaboratively with the Vice President for Advancement, the President, academic leaders, volunteers, and Development and Alumni staff to secure planned gift commitments in support of the college.
This is a full-time, overtime exempt position on the Olympia campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is an “at-will” appointment, exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.
Salary and Benefits: $6,897 – $8,967 per month of full-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
