Do you love working with students who are curious about psychology? Do you get excited about sharing how understanding psychology can enrich our lives? Clark College is currently seeking applicants for a part-time Psychology Instructor who understands psychology as it relates to power, privilege, and inequality. Courses include General Psychology and Lifespan Psychology. This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment to maintain a dynamic pool of candidates. Positions will be filled as program needs arise. Lecture rate is $71.67/hour. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Faculty Responsibilities
- Instruct classes in General Psychology and/or Lifespan Psychology (Human Development) utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
- Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational goals.
- Participate in relevant department assessment activities.
- Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
QUALIFICATION:
- Master’s degree in psychology or related field.
